Die Technical Death Metal / Grindcore-Band ORIGIN hat mit “Infestation” einen weiteren Song vom kommenden Album “Abiogenesis – A Coming Into Existence” veröffentlicht. Das achte Album der US-Amerikaner beinhaltet Songs, die zwischen 1991 und 1996 entstanden sind. Die Neu-Aufnahmen dieser Songs nahm ORIGIN-Mastermind Paul Ryan selbst in die Hand, als dass er sämtliche Instrumente zwischen 2013 und 2018 einspielte.
Bereits vor einigen Wochen teilten ORIGIN den Track “Mind Asylum“.
Paul Ryan meint zum Alleingang bei den Aufnahmen: “This is by no means the current direction of the band ORIGIN, but simply music that is the origins of ORIGIN. I did to the best of my ability to recreate the instrumentation of all the former members & the guys who I played this music with blended into each track (& yes there was a lot of editing!!!!). I´m officially retired from recording drums ever again!”
Die zwölf Tracks auf “Abiogenesis – A Coming Into Existence” stammen zum einen aus einer Ära noch vor ORIGIN, als Paul Ryan noch bei Bands wie NECROTOMY oder THEE ABOMINATION aktiv gewesen ist. Zum anderen gibt es eine remasterte Version von der ersten ORIGIN-EP “A Coming Into Existence”, die niemals weltweit veröffentlicht worden ist.
“Abiogenesis – A Coming Into Existence” von ORIGIN wird am 3. Mai 2019 via Agonia Records erscheinen.
