Nach “Futile Conversion” hat die Melodic Death Metal-Band PROGENY OF SUN mit “End of Zen” ein weiteres Lyric-Video zu ihrer aktuellen und selbstbetitelten EP veröffentlicht. “Progeny of Sun” ist am 22. März 2019 via Inverse Records erschienen.
PROGENY OF SUN sind Jaakko Hautamäki, der als Mutli-Instrumentalist auch die Produktion über hatte, und Sänger Niko Aromaa, der auch das Cover-Artwork der EP gestaltete. In seiner Außendarstellung setzt sich das finnische Duo für freie Meinungsäußerung und Unabhängigkeit von Religonen ein.
Dabei erklärt die Band: “Progeny of Sun itself means the people who are born under the same sun, following the various sun gods. Denying the self-determination in hope to be saved by the miracles and being controlled, navigated and dominated by wealth of world biggest companies. Progeny of Sun is the voice. The voice of those who deny being a sheep.”
