Die Blackened Death Metal-Band PROGENY OF SUN hat mit „Prophets of the Void“ ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach „Throne of Desolation“ (2023) das zweite Album der Finnen aus Helsinki und soll im Herbst 2025 via Inverse Records erscheinen.

„Prophets of the Void“ wurde von Gitarrist Jaakko Hautamäki gemixt und von Jonathan Mazzeo gemastert. Für das Cover-Artwork zeichnen Gitarrist Joni Kiviniemi und Sänger Niko Aromaa (DARK ARCHIVE) verantwortlich. Vorab gibt es zu „Penance“ einen Video-Clip.
