Mit “How Did You Get So Weak?” hat die Grunge / Hard Rock-Band MARISA AND THE MOTHS einen weiteren Video-Clip von ihrem aktuellen und selbstbetitelten Album veröffentlicht. “‘How Did You Get So Weak?’ is the question that I asked myself at the start of what ended up being an extremely traumatic relationship”, erklärt Sängerin Marisa. “I knew that there was something wrong at the time, but because of various reasons I felt too scared to leave. Now I’m on the other side of this situation, I’d really like to use the release of this song to help others.”

“Marisa And The Moths” ist das erste Album der Briten, welches unter anderem den persönlichen Kampf von Songwriterin, Gitarristin und Sängerin Marisa Rodriguez mit Ängsten und dem täglichen Sexismus thematisiert. Weitere Band-Mitglieder sind Bassist Liam James Barnes, Drummer Jason Wilson, der das Album in den Stakeout Studios in London produziert hat, Gitarristin Sophie Lloyd und Gitarrist Chris Merton.
Das Debütalbum von MARISA AND THE MOTHS ist am 15. November 2019 erschienen.
