Die portugiesische Heavy Rock / Progressive Metal-Band BLAME ZEUS hat nach dem Videos zu “No” und “The Warden” mit “Down To Our Bones” ein Lyric-Video von ihrem neuen Album “Seethe” veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Identity’ (2014) und “Theory of Perception” (2017) das dritte Album des Quintetts.
Zur Idee hinter dem neuen Album meint BLAME ZEUS-Sängerin Sandra Oliveira, die bei HEAVENWOOD einst Gast-Vocals eingesungen hatte, dass “Seethe” durchaus auch als Konzeptalbum angesehen werden kann: “because the main theme of the songs is unexpressed anger, silent pain transformed into poetry. Its contradictory nature is the liberation of the soul, it´s letting go of that lump on your throat when you have something to say. Each song speaks of a particular situation where the silence and the numbness become a vehicle for action and freedom or even utmost despair.”
“Seethe” von BLAME ZEUS wurde mit einem Cover-Artwork von Gustavo Sazes (u.a. für ISOLE tätig) ausgestattet und ist am 8. November 2019 via Rockshots Records erschienen.
