Die Black ´n´ Roll-Band VREID hat ihr als Livestream übertragenes Konzert „In the Mountains of Sognametal“ vollständig ins Netz gestellt.
“It was such a unique experience“, erinnert sich Songwriter und Bassist Jarle Hváll Kvåle. „It was a moment where we embraced our entire legacy, and I am so proud of how it came together. It was organized with a true Sognametal spirit, in a strong DIY manner with help from our closest friends and family. The response to the stream was overwhelming and we hope that when this pandemic is over, we can invite the audience to watch a special concert in the same surroundings. That would be mind blowing.”
Am Samstag, den 13. Juni 2020, um 21 Uhr haben die Norweger via die Facebook Seiten von Season of Mist, diversen Partner und der Band ein Live-Konzert gegeben.
“The extreme nature and the history of our dear hometown Sogn has always been a huge inspiration and important factor of our musical universe. So, when we can’t travel the world to meet you, we decided that we will bring you all to our natural habitat“, erklärt Bassist Jarle Hváll Kvåle.
„We will do a show at my own mountain farm in the Sogndal valley. It’s been in my family for generations and is located in some of Norway’s wildest and most spectacular nature. This is where a lot of our music is written, and this is where our roots lay. It surely will be a unique experience with a special setlist. We will perform songs that we have never done live before alongside live set classics. Welcome to the mountains of Sognametal.”
