Die Death Metal-Band SORCERY hat nach dem Audiotrack “I´ll Be Gone in the Dark” mit “Death is Near” ein Lyric-Video ihres kommenden Albums “Necessary Excess of Violence” veröffentlicht. Es ist das vierte Album der Schweden.
SORCERY sind bereits seit Mitte der 80er-Jahre aktiv und legten zwischen 1997 und 2009 eine Pause ein. Seit Anbeginn mit von der Partie sind Sänger Ola Malmström (Ex-FEAR MY SOLITUDE) und Gitarrist Paul Johansson (Ex-IN AETERNUM). Weitere Mitglieder sind Drummer John Falk (DEVOURER), Gitarrist Johan Wickholm (SORDID FLESH) und Bassist Tommy Holmer (PLANET RAIN, UNDIVINE).
“I´ll Be Gone in the Dark”, das mit einem Cover-Artwork von Juanjo Castellano (u.a. für REVEL IN FLESH tätig) ausgestattet wurde, wird am 20. August 2019 via Xtreem Music erscheinen.
