Die Power Metal-Band METAL DE FACTO hat nach dem Video-Clip zu “The Conqueror” und dem Lyric-Video zu “The Ascending Of Jupiter” mit “Legionnaires´ Oath” ein weiteres Lyric-Video von ihrem aktuellen Album „Imperium Romanum“ veröffentlicht. Es ist das erste Album der Finnen, die erst kürzlich einen Labeldeal bei Rockshots Records unterschrieben haben.
Bassist Sami Hinkka (ENSIFERUM, Ex-RAPTURE) sagt zum Song (“The Conqueror“): “the opening track of the album tells about the founding myth of Rome. But instead of just telling once again the legend of the brothers Romulus and Remus, we played around with the idea of what did Romulus think after he killed his brother. And even though he saw the glory of Rome, could it have been even greater if they both would´ve still been there to rule together?”
Neben Sami Hinkka sind auch Gitarrist Esa Orjatsalo (Ex-DREAMTALE), Sänger Mikael Salo (EVERFROST, DYECREST), Gitarrist Mikko Salovaara (LEVERAGE, Ex-KIUAS), Keyboarder Benji Connelly (EVERFROST) und Drummer Atte Marttinen (VOLUCRINE, Ex-KIVIMETSÄN DRUIDI) Teil von METAL DE FACTO.
“Imperium Romanum” wurde in den Goodman Studios und im Tadaa Music Studio von Gitarrist Esa Orjatsalo produziert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Gyula Havancsák (Ex-BORNHOLM). Als Gast-Musiker kommt zudem Maurizio Iacono (KATAKLYSM, EX DEO) mit Spoken Words zum Einsatz. Das neue Album von METAL DE FACTO ist am 22. November 2019 erschienen.
