Die Progressive Deathcore-Band KROSIS hat mit “Terminus” einen Video-Clip von ihrem kommenden Album “Solem Vatem Redux” veröffentlicht.
Bei “Solem Vatem Redux” handelt es sich um eine Neuaufnahme des 2018er-Albums “Solem Vatem” (2018) und den zweiten Teil der KROSIS “Memoir Anthology”. So ist schon zuvor ein Re-Release vom Debütalbum “Mount of Sacrifice” erschienen und 2021 soll noch eine EP folgen.
Die Neuaufnahme gingen gemeinsam mit Brandon Scurlark in den Eltar Studios vonstatten. Für das Mastering zeichnet Jamie King (u.a. für BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME tätig) verantwortlich.
Ganz neu sind die Vocals von Mac Smith, der erst nach den 2018er-Aufnahmen zur Band gestoßen ist. “Joining the band roughly five months after the initial release of “Solem Vatem”, I am extremely excited to reveal my take on this material. This project was challenging, as I had to adopt some vocal stylings that I had not previously attempted before.”
Geblieben sind dagegen die Gast-Beiträge von Pierre Daniel (KADINJA), John Robert C. (THE LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE) und Duncan Bentley (VULVODYNIA).
“Solem Vatem Redux” wird am 27. November 2020 via Unique Leader Records erscheinen.
