Mit „North“ wird in einigen Wochen das neue Album der Blackened Death Metal-Band TRIDENT erscheinen. Es ist nach „World Destruction“ (2010) das zweite Album der Schweden, die in der Zwischenzeit mit „Shadows“ (2015) eine EP veröffentlicht hatten.
Mit “Death” bei YouTube haben TRIDENT jetzt den zweiten Song der neuen Platte im Netz geteilt, es gibt außerdem einen Clip zu “North”.
„North“ wurde von Bassist Anders Backelin im Armageddon Recordings Studio gemixt und gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Juanjo Castellano Rosado (u.a. für THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER tätig). „The album artwork and the songs themselves tells a story about an Internal journey, of ominous visions through dreams, touching the subjects of ancient wisdoms long forgotten, cursed bloodlines“, erklärt die Band dazu.
TRIDENT sind Drummer Joakim Antonsson (NOX AUREA), die Gitarristen Johan Norman (Ex-DISSECTION) und Per-Owe Solvelius (LANCER) Sänger Henri Heikkinen sowie Bassist Anders Backelin (EX-LORD BELIAL).
„North“ wird am 2. Oktober 2020 via Non Serviam Records erscheinen.
