“Lyrically the song touches on the subject of manipulation and control. Many of us experience this in some form or another. From our individual lives to the people around us. These situations can take control of us and affect us in very harmful ways, the idea of the puppet on strings is a metaphor for this”, erklärt die Band aus Pittsburgh.
“Pernicious” folgt dem dritten Album “Vital Deprivation” (2019) des amerikanischen Quartetts. Ein viertes Album soll 2021 via Unique Leader Records erscheinen.
