Vier Neuzugänge gibt es auf dem Billing des BANG YOUR HEAD 2008: GREAT WHITE, RAGE, AGENT STEEL und TYR. Somit liest sich das Programm aktuell wie folgt:TRAMP´S WHITE LION, GREAT WHITE, RAGE, GRAVE DIGGER, TANKARD, AGENT STEEL, TYR, und AGE OF EVIL.
ROTTEN TO THE CORE FEST: Erste Infos zum 2008er-Event
Am 22. März 2008 findet im Wachenrother Toxicity das ROTTEN TO THE CORE FEST statt. Derzeit bestätigt sind CAUSE OF DEATH, PAROXYSM, BIERSCHNAPPS und TRIGGER. Bei der Aftershow gibt es zudem einen HELGE SCHNEIDER-Imitator. Weitere Infos gibt es auf der Festival-Seite.
SOUL DEMISE: sind wieder komplett
Die deutschen Death Metaller SOUL DEMISE sind wieder komplett. Neuer Schlagzeuger ist Jan Sotiriu und am Bass ist nun Michael Dauscher. Die Band plant noch dieses Jahr eine neue Scheibe in Angriff zu nehmen.
MISERY SPEAKS: trennen sich vom Label
Im beidseitigem Einvernehmen haben sich MISERY SPEAKS und Alveran Records getrennt. Die Band ist nun auf der Suche nach einer neuen Plattenfirma, welche das neue Album "Catalogue of Carnage" veröffentlichen soll.

SUPREME MAJESTY-Gitarrist Rille Svensson hat die Band verlassen.

Since I have been active in the musicindustry for over 11 years, it felt natural to take a brake from Supreme Majesty. One reason is mainly to be active in the musicbusiness, but in another way be able to develope as a human being. It has been a long trip, with both pleasant and less pleasant occasions, just like it is in this sort of business. Now I am going to put all my free time on a relative new started record label called Sweden Metal Music Entertainment. The music will never disappear from me, I will take a brake and looking forward to explore what the future have in mind for me. I will also take this oppurtunity to thank all the fans and supporters that has been right at Supreme Majestys and my side all the way from the start, it is thanks to you/them that we have come this far. COHEED AND CAMBRIA: neues Album, Single und zwei Konzerte
Am 19. Oktober 2007 erscheint das neue Album von COHEED AND CAMBRIA: "No World For Tomorrow" ist vierte und letzte Kapitel der Konzeptalbumserie rund um den fiktionalen Charakter des Claudio Kilgannon, der den "The Amory Wars"-Comics von Frontmann Claudio Sanchez entstammt und der Sohn von Coheed und Cambria Kilgannon ist. Die Single "The Running Free", wird am 25.September veröffentlicht - sie ist ausschließlich als Download erhältlich. Bereits Ende September spielt die Band zwei Konzerte in Deutschland: am 29. September in Hamburg beim Reeperbahn Festival und am 30.September im Kölner Gloria-Theater.

PROPHECY: Vertrag unterzeichnet
Die aus Texas stammenden Death Metaller PROPHECY haben einen Plattendeal bei Grindethic Records unterzeichnet. Im Oktober beginnt die Band mit den Aufnahmen zum Album "Don´t Fuckin´ Mess With Texas", welches noch Ende des Jahres auf den Markt kommen soll.
NEW EDEN: neuer Plattenvertrag und Europa-Release
NEW EDEN haben einen Deal beim jungen deutschen Label Rock It Up Records unterzeichnet. Das erste Ergebnis dieser Zusammenarbeit ist der Europa-Release der "Stagnant Progression"-CD als "Silver Edition". Es werden zusätzlich drei Bonustracks enthalten sein, zudem wurde der Silberling neu abgemischt und das Booklet aufgestockt.Veröffentlichungstermin ist der 28. September 2007.

COLOSSEUM: Debütalbum fertig
Das Debütalbum "Chapter 1: Delirium" der finnischen Doomer COLOSSEUM wird am 19. November 2007 weltweit über Firebox/Firedoom Records veröffentlicht. Auf der offiziellen MySpace-Seite der Band kann man bereits in den Song "Corridors O Desolation" reinhören.
HIRAX: Tour gecancelt – einzige Deutschlandshow in Lörrach
Nach Informationen der Veranstalter des METAL FORCES FESTIVAL wurde die vier Deutschlanddates umfassende HIRAX-Tour aufgrund organisatorischer Mängel abgesagt. Der einzige Deutschlandgig findet nun am 29. September in Lörrach im Alten Wasserwerk statt, wo die Band gemeinsam mit GODDESS OF DESIRE, DRIFTER, FATAL EMBRACE auf der Bühne stehen werden.
