Die Death Metal-Band EYE OF PURGATORY hat nach dem Lyric-Video zu „Formless Figures Dance“ mit „The Slithering“ einen zweiten Track ihres kommenden Albums „Darkborne“ veröffentlicht. Es ist nach „The Rotting Enigma“ (2018) und „The Lighthouse“ (2021) das dritte Album der internationalen Band rund um ROGGA JOHANSSON (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER) und Taylor Nordberg (DEICIDE, INHUMAN CONDITION).

„Darkborne“ wurde mit einem Cover-Artwork von Dan Goldsworthy ausgestattet und wird am 13. Februar 2026 via Apostasy Records erscheinen.
