Mit “Ethereal Euphonies” geht die Gothic Metal-Band THE LUST ungewöhnliche Wege. Denn das neue Album , das eigentlich mehr eine Compilation ist, versammelt zehn – mitunter ältere – THE LUST-Kompositionen, die jedoch bloß von Keyboarderin Lorelei Ether eingespielt worden sind.
“For me personally, as one of the music composers, it was unusual to hear some of songs, especially the early ones, in this interpretation”, erklärt Gitarrist Yan Fedyayev. “In her versions, Lorelei Ether was able to emphasize and unite not only basic melodies, but also vocal and instrumental arrangements, over which all members of the group worked with in different years. The result sounds epic and romantic at the same time.”
“Ethereal Euphonies” wird am 6. Januar 2021 erscheinen. Vorab gibt es den Song “Thank You” zu hören.
