Die Symphonic / Gothic Metal-Band SIRENIA hat mit “This Curse of Mine” ein Lyric-Video von ihrem aktuellen Album “Riddles, Ruins & Revelations” veröffentlicht.
Zuvor hatte die Band schon ein Video zu “Addiction No. 1” und die Single “We Come To Ruins” veröffentlicht. Zu “Voyage Voyage” gibt es ebenso einen Clip bei YouTube. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Coverversion des gleichnamigen DESIRELESS-Songs aus den 80ern.
“Riddles, Ruins & Revelations” ist das zehnte Album der Norweger und folgt dem 2018er-Album “Arcane Astral Aeons” nach.
“The album is very diverse, as a SIRENIA album should be”, erklärt Mastermind Morten Veland. “There’s a lot of material that shows the band from a new side, and there is lots of material that is to be expected from the band musically. All in all the album will take the listeners through a journey that will cover both familiar and unexplored musical landscapes.”
Neben Multi-Instrumentalist und Sänger Morten Veland (Ex-TRISTANIA) gehören noch Sängerin Emmanuelle Zoldan, Gitarrist Jan Erik Soltvedt, Gitarrist Nils Courbaron (LYR DROWNING, T.A.N.K.) und (seit 2019) Drummer Michael Brush (MAGIC KINGDOM, HOLY TIDE) der 2001 gegründeten Band aus Stavanger an.
