Mit “Ulro” wird in wenigen Tagen das neue Album der instrumentalen Sludge / Post-Metal-Band RISE ABOVE DEAD erscheinen. Es ist nach “Stellar Filth” (2012) und “Heavy Gravity” (2015) das dritte Album der Italiener aus Mailand.
“Ulro” ist ein Konzeptalbum, das aus den Visionen von William Blake seine Inspiration bezogen hat. Aufgenommen wurde das Album im Trai Studio in Inzago. Für das Engineering engagierte die Band Femore and Fabio Intraina, während Magnus Lindberg (CULT OF LUNA) das Abum in Schweden gemastert hat. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Solo Macello (u.a. für SADIST tätig).
Das neue Album von RISE ABOVE DEAD wird am 24. Juli 2020 via Shove Records erscheinen.
