Die Black Metal-Band NIXIL hat nach „Collapsing the Poles“ mit „In Thrall“ eine zweite Single ihres kommenden Albums „From the Wound Spilled Forth Fire“ mitsamt Video-Clip veröffentlicht. Es ist nach „All Knots Untied“ (2021) das zweite Album der US-Amerikaner aus Baltimore und wird am 25. August 2023 via Prosthetic Records erscheinen. Das Album wurde gemeinsam mit J. Robbins (u.a. für Black Lung tätig) im Magpie Cage Recording Studio aufgenommen, während James Plotkin (KHANATE) das Mastering über hatte.

NIXIL sind Sänger Chris Carter (Ex-SPECTRAL TOMBS), Drummer Key (DAGGER MOON), Bassistin Aurora Raiten (Ex-CORPSE LIGHT), Gitarrist Alden Bradstock (SENESCERE) und Gitarrist Shane Gardner.
