Die Power Metal-Band JUDICATOR hat mit “The Majesty of Decay” ein neues Album veröffentlicht. Es ist das sechste Album der US-Amerikaner und folgt dem 2020er-Album “Let There Be Nothing” nach.
“The Majesty of Decay” ist erneut ein Konzeptalbum und knüpft an “At the Expense of Humanity” (das dritte Album der Band), an, das von den Erfahrungen des Sängers John Yelland erzählt, der seinen älteren Bruder nach einem langen Kampf mit Krebs sterben sah.
Das Album wurde von Carlos Alvarez (POWER THEORY, SHADOWDANCE) gemixt und von Brett Caldas-Lima (KALISIA) gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Marc Whisnant (u.a. für HELION PRIME tätig). Erschienen ist das Album am 25. November 2022 via Prosthetic Records.
Mit “The Majesty of Decay” ist nun ein weiterer Video-Clip erschienen.
Zuvor ist nach dem Video-Clip zu “The High Priestess” mit “The Black Elk” ein Lyric-Video erschienen.
“Kurz gesagt, geht es in dem Song um die Auseinandersetzung mit der eigenen Unsicherheit, Vater und Sohn zu sein”, erklärt Sänger John Yelland.
JUDICATOR sind Sänger John Yelland (PRINCIPIUM, Ex-DIRE PERIL), Gitarrist Balmore Lemus (NOVAREIGN, Ex-EXMORTUS), Bassist John Dolan sowie Drummer und Bassist Jordan Elcess.
