Mit „ReDeath“ hat die Crust / Sludge / Hardcore-Band CALL OF THE VOID ein Lyric-Video von ihrem kommenden Album „Buried In Light“ veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Dragged Down a Dead End Path” (2013) und “Ageless” (2015) das dritte Album der Band aus Colorado.
„Buried In Light“ist ein Konzeptalbum rund um Personen, die vor allem davonlaufen und jedem aus dem Weg gehen bzw. ihr Beweggründe für dieses Verhalten. “We find ourselves surrounded by everything we have but it´s still insufferable to be alive. What drives a person to reject everything and choose death?”, fragt sich CALL OF THE VOID-Drummer Gordon Koch. “We looked at ourselves and the vulnerability of humanity to shed our own light on and into the emotional upheaval that pushes people over the edge, those who have abandoned society, and those who have taken their own lives.”
„Buried In Light“ wurde im Boars Nest in Salt Lake City von Andy Patterson (SUBROSA) produziert. Die Vocals bekamen bei Flatline Audio durch Dave Otero (u.a. für NIGHTBRINGER tätig) ihren Feinschliff. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Brian D´Agosta (u.a. für VALLENFYRE tätig). Erscheinen wird das neue CALL OF THE VOID-Album am 10. Mai 2019 via Translation Loss Records.
