Die schwedischen Death Metaller VOMITORY haben einen neuen Gitarristen: Christian Fredriksson. Er ersetzt Peter Östlund. Der Grund für den Wechsel ist, dass Peter beruflich und seitens der Familie extrem eingespannt ist und so schlicht und ergreifend keine Zeit mehr bleibt für VOMITORY. Christian Fredriksson ist kein unbekannter und half schon bei der Tour mit VADER bei VOMITORY aus. Die schwedische Death Metal-Band arbeitet zurzeit am Nachfolger des 2023er-Albums „All heads are gonna roll„.

Ladies and gentlemen,
After spending almost half my life as a part of VOMITORY I am no longer a member of the band. There is no bad blood or drama, there is simply not enough time for me to balance family life, work and being a part of this great unit in a productive way a band at this level requires.
My deepest thanks to Urban, Erik and Tobias for all the great times we’ve spent together and the best of luck for the future.

It’s a great honor for me to join a beast of a band such as VOMITORY. They have been around as long as I’ve been listening to extreme music.
I’ve been standing in for Peter for about a year and a half now and got the privilege to go around the world playing great shows!
It’s big shoes to fill, but I hope I’ll get the job done. I wish Peter all the luck in the future!
