Die Black Metal / Hardcore-Band CALLIGRAM hat mit “Kenosis” einen weiteren Track zu ihrem kommenden Album “The Eye Is The First Circle” veröffentlicht.
Das Debütalbum der seit 2011 bestehenden Band aus London entlehnte seinen Titel einem Essay (“Circles”) vom Philosophen und Schriftsteller Ralph Waldo Emerson. Die Lyrics sind jedoch allesamt auf Italienisch.
“The Eye Is The First Circle” von CALLIGRAM wurde von Lewis Johns (u.a. für HEXIS tätig) im The Ranch Production House produziert und wird am 10. April 2020 via Prosthetic Records erscheinen.
Vorab gab es mit “Vivido Perire” und “Anedonia” schon erste Video-Clips vom Album. Zum letzteren Video meint Drummer Ardo Cotones: “I thought we´d try and create something a little different to the usual aspects of classic metal videos; fast camera movements, fast edits and stories intertwined with the band playing. So the band on this short film is an element of the central story. The style is inspired by the films of Pawel Pawlikowski and the French new wave as I´m a massive film nerd.”
