Die Psychedelic Post-Metal-Band PSYCHONAUT hat mit “The Story Of Your Enslavement” ein Lyric-Video von ihrem kommenden Album “Unfold The God Man” veröffentlicht. Zuvor ist bereits das Video zum Albumtrack “Kabuddah” erschienen.
“Unfold The God Man” wurde gemeinsam mit Chiaran Verheyden in den Daft Studios in Malmedy aufgenommen und ist ursprünglich bereits vor zwei Jahren erschienen. Nun wird das Debütalbum der Belgier via Pelagic Records erneut aufgelegt. Als Release-Termin steht der 6. März 2020.
Beim Album handelt es sich um ein Konzeptalbum, das philosophische und existentialistische Themen anspricht. “We´ve always been interested in religion, spirituality, and philosophy”, erklärt Gitarrist und Sänger Stefan DeGraef. “We´ve meditated together, had long discussions about the nature of life, the origin of consciousness, the purpose of existing etc. for as long as we´ve known each other. We share a common vision and have a connection. We were blessed with some experiences in the past which fundamentally changed the way we look at the universe and ourselves.”
Neben Stefan DeGraef sind noch Bassist und Sänger Thomas Michiels und Schlagzeuger Peter Le Page Teil von PSYCHONAUT, die 2013 zueinander gefunden haben und vor dem ersten Album zwei EPs veröffentlicht haben.
