Mit “Following The Steps Of Damnation” erschien kürzlich das neue Album der Melodic Death Metal-Band ONTBORG. Es ist nach “Within the Depths of Oblivion” (2019) das zweite Album der Südtiroler aus Meran. Zum Release postete die Formation ein Musikvideo zum Albumtrack “Purgatory” bei YouTube.
Als Vorgeschmack teilte die Gruppe zuvor außerdem ein Lyric-Video zu “Nightfall” bei YouTube.
“Following The Steps Of Damnation” wurde mit einem Cover-Artwork von Juanjo Castellano ausgestattet und ist am 24. Februar 2023 via Black Lion Records erschienen. Vorab gab es zum Opener “Steps Of Damnation” einen Video-Clip.
“Der Text spiegelt das Cover-Artwork wider, auf dem man nach dem Tod den Weg in eine andere Welt gehen muss”, erklärt die Band hierzu.
ONTBORG sind Sänger und Gitarrist Lukas Flarer (Ex-GRAVEWORM, Ex-VOICES OF DECAY), Gitarrist Florian Reiner (GRAVEWORM, Ex-VOICES OF DECAY), Bassist Christoph Gufler sowie Drummer Christoph Flarer (Ex-VOICES OF DECAY).
