Gitarrist Pekka Kiviaho verlässt nach drei Jahren ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET. Die Band trennt sich in Freundschaft von Kiviaho, obwohl sie nicht mit ihm gemeinsam weitermachen wollte, da er zu wenig Engagement und Motivation zeigte.
Kiviaho will im Februar 2007 mit der Band FRACTION OF CHAOS ein Album einspielen. Das Statement der Band:
We´re very sorry to announce that Pekka Kiviaho is leaving The Army.
He has been in this Band for 3 years now and he has been a true friend and a reliable member of The Army, mark my words.
This decision is something that we have suspected for a while though, based on lack Of motivation and commitment. We had a discussion about this topic last week and just a few days ago Pekka came to realise that he couldn´t commit to all the terms that is basically all about being in this band 110%. We can´t have it no other way.
That´s why this band has come this far. Because people push it forward. So don´t worry fellow Army fans. We will not be weakened by this setback. I would rather say that we will be stronger.
I see positive on getting new fresh blood into this circle to get the machine going on full speed again.
ALL HAIL THE ARMY-THE DEAD ALIVE
Finally we would like to say thanks to Pekka and wish him good luck for the future. There´s absolutely no hard feelings what so ever, but sometimes things are simply not meant to be and we totally respect that. Cheers buddy.

This is it. My time as an Undead being is over for now.
There is no bad blood between us, just a new chapter both for me and One man army.
My future plans in music will carry on with an album recording with Fraction of Chaos during february 2008.
A big Hail goes out to the guys! Thanks for all the great stuff we have experienced together. Both on and off stage!
I would also like to send a Hail to all the great Army fans out there, Hein, Ted, Simon and all the other crazy fuckers around the globe!
