Die Experimental Grincore / Death Metal-Band FEED THEM DEATH hat vor einigen Wochen mit “Panopticism: Belong / Be Lost” ihr neues Album angekündigt und mit “Scar?” auch gleich einen ersten Albumtrack zum Anhören parat gestellt. Nun ist mit “Zoneless Confinement” auch ein Lyric-Video vom Album erschienen.
“Panopticism: Belong / Be Lost” ist nach “No Solution / Dissolution” (2018) das zweite Album des Solo-Projekts von Void (RISING BEAR FLOTTILLA, Ex-ANTROPOFAGUS). Dabei handelt es sich um ein Konzeptalbum, welches von den Schriften des Philosophen und Soziologen Michel Foucault inspriert worden ist.
Zum Albumtitel führt Void näher aus: “The full implication of the Panopticon as envisioned by Jeremy Bentham in the 18th century had to wait three centuries to be grounded deep in our everyday life, in an age of surveillance technology and social estrangement which could be now aptly referred to as Panopticism. Those who don´t belong are lost: for those who don´t belong we raise our voice in a solitary chant of discord and praise to their individuality.”
Das neue Album von FEED THEM DEATH wurde gemeinsam mit Dave Tavecchia im Twilight Studio aufgenommen. Als Gast-Musiker sind zudem Argento (SPITE EXTREME WING D:M:), Luigi Cara (DEATHCRUSH, SPELL OF DECAY, MALIGNANT DEFECATION), Ays Kura (DIE KUR) und Davide Destro (LACOLPA, MACABRO DIO) zu hören. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Guglielmo Rossi.
“Panopticism: Belong / Be Lost” wird am 17. April 2020 via I, Voidhanger Records erscheinen.
