Die Progressive / Doom Metal.Band CRESTFALLEN QUEEN veröffentlicht am 24. Mai 2019 ihr Album “Queen of Swords”, es erscheint auf CD via Church Within Records und kann auch über crestfallenqueen-cwr.bandcamp.com geordert werden.
Am 25. Mai 2019 stellen CRESTFALLEN QUEEN ihr neues Album live in Club Cann in Stuttgart/Bad Cannstatt vor. Außerdem sind an diesem Abend auch die Berliner Doomer ALBEZ DUZ, die Death-Doomer MORAST sowie die Stuttgarter Doom Metal-Band MORIBUND MANTRAS live zu sehen.
“Queen of Swords” ist das erste Album von CRESTFALLEN QUEEN die 2017 ihr Demo “No More Let Life Divide What Death Can Join Together” veröffentlicht hatten. Inspiriert von alter Philosophie und Mythologie erzählen die Stuttgarter auf “Queen of Swords” Geschichten von gefallenen Heldinnen und wie sie mit Niederlagen umgegangen sind. Dabei werden auch Parallelen zur Gegenwart gezeichnet.
Das Artwork von “Queen of Swords” von CRESTFALLEN QUEEN kommt von Jose Gabriel Alegría Sabogal (u.a. für WHOREDOM RIFE tätig).
