Am 14. Oktober 2022 erschien das neue ALTER BRIDGE-Album „Pawns & Kings“. Jetzt legte die Formation ein weiteres Musikvideo zum Song „Holiday“ bei YouTube nach.
Als vierte Single stellte die Gruppe im Herbst 2022 das Lyric-Video „This Is War“ vor. Zuvor hatte die Band mit „Sin After Sin“ den dritten Preview-Song daraus veröffentlicht. Anfang August hatte das Gespann außerdem ein animiertes Video zur Single „Silver Tongue“ online gestellt. Der Clip folgt auf das Lyric-Video zum Titeltrack „Pawns & Kings“, das die Gruppe ebenfalls bei YouTube geteilt hat.
ALTER BRIDGE tourten nach der Veröffentlichung von „Pawns & Kings“ durch Europa. Termine hatte man für November und Dezember angekündigt, die in sechs Wochen 25 Stopps umfassten. Mit dabei waren HALESTORM und MAMMOTH WVH als Support.
