Mit “Repugnant Coronation of the Beast” wird in wenigen Tagen das neue Album der Black Metal-Band VENEREAL BAPTISM erscheinen. Es ist nach “Deviant Castigation Liturgy” (2017) das zweite Album der Texaner.
Seit dem Debütalbum ist die einst fünfköpfige Band allerdings auf ein Duo geschrumpft: übrig geblieben sind Gitarrist Waldo Roberto Rocha und Sänger Eliseo Lara. Als Gast-Musiker zogen VENEREAL BAPTISM daher Drummer Sterling Junkin (WIDOWER) und Bassist Jacob Holmes (MORGENGRAU) heran.
“Repugnant Coronation of the Beast” wurde von Patrick Guiraud (u.a. für NORDJEVEL tätig) gemixt und gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Rolf Brühwiller.
Das neue Album von VENEREAL BAPTISM wird am 27. September 2019 via Osmose Productions erscheinen.
