PESTILENCE neues Album Resurrection Macabre erscheint am 16. März 2009, im Frühjahr ist eine Europatour geplant.
Einige Songtitel hat die Band bereits verraten: HangMan (Into the mind of an executioner), Synthetic Grotesque (Trying to create through cloning), Fiend (Drugaddiction), Resurrection Macabre (The return of the Pestilence), Hate Suicide (Last hours of a suicide-bomber). Außerdem sind auf dem Album Neuaufnahmen von Of The Body, Chemo Therapy und Lost Souls zu hören – diese Songs wurden in einer Abstimmung über die Bandhomepage ausgewählt.
