Die Death / Groove Metal-Band ORBIT CULTURE hat mit “Open Eye” einen Video-Clip von ihrem kommenden Album “Nija” veröffentlicht. Zuvor sind schon Video-Clips zu den Albumtracks “The Shadowing“, “Nensha” und “Rebirth” erschienen.
“Nija” ist nach “In Medias Res” (2014) und “Rasen” (2016) das dritte Album der schwedischen Band, die 2013 von Sänger und Gitarrist Niklas Karlsson gegründet worden ist. Weitere Band-Mitglieder sind Lead-Gitarrist Richard Hansson, Bassist Fredrik Lennartsson und Drummer Markus Bladh.
Zum Stil der Band meine Bandgründer Niklas Karlsson: “As much as we love metal, we love other music, too. We love a good hard-hitting song as much as the next guy, but we’ve always found that blending and mixing genres seems more fun for us at least, rather than deciding on a specific genre to write within the metal scene. It really helps us to be creative and motivated. I’m guessing that is something that we’ll always do.”
Das neue Album von ORBIT CULTURE wird am 7. August 2020 via Seek & Strike erscheinen.
