JONATHAN HULTÉN veröffentlicht am 16. Dezember 2022 sein neues Album “The Forest Sessions” als CD+DVD und LP via Kscope.
Für das Album hat der ex-TRIBULATION-Gitarrist Songs des 2000er Albums “Chants From Another Place” und der EP “The Dark Night of the Soul” in anderen, experimentelleren Videoclip-Versionen aufgenommen und um einen Kurzfilm sowie animierte Illustrationen und Gedichte erweitert. Zusätzlich gibt es einige Livemitschnitte vom ROADBURN-Festival.
Mit einem Video zu “The Call To Adventure” stellt JONATHAN HULTÉN jetzt einen der Songs von “The Forest Sessions” vor.
“The Forest Sessions” entstand zwischen Januar 2020 und Juni 2022, das Mastering und der Mix kommen von Ola Ersfjord.
“Alles begann mit der Idee, ein Konzert live aus dem Wald zu streamen. Ich stellte ein Team zusammen, arbeitete einen Plan aus und schließlich entwickelte sich das Projekt zu acht einzigartigen Musikvideos, die auf der Setlist eines Live-Auftritts basieren. Alle Drehorte wurden in Bezug auf die Songtitel ausgesucht und unser Plan war, das gesamte Material in 24 Stunden in einem Gebiet zu drehen, das etwa 40 Minuten von Stockholm entfernt ist.”
