Die Death Metal-Band HEADS FOR THE DEAD hat mit “The Great Conjuration” ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach “Serpent’s Curse” (2018) und “Into the Red” (2020) das dritte Album des internationalen Projekts und folgt der 2021er-EP “Slash ‘n’ Roll” nach.
“The Great Conjuration” wurde mit einem Cover-Artwork von Dedy Badic Art (u.a. für THE BLEEDING tätig) ausgestattet. “Die Idee war, ein Kunstwerk zu schaffen, das die Dämonen des klassischen 80er-Jahre-Horror-Vibes beschwört”, erklärt die Band.
Erscheinen wird das Album am 2. September 2022 via Transcending Obscurity Records. Vorab gibt es nach “The Jewel of the Seven Stars“, “World Serpent Dominion” und “The Bloodline” nun auch den Song “The Covenant” zu hören.
HEADS FOR THE DEAD sind Jonny Pettersson (MASSACRE, WOMBBATH), Ralf Hauber (REVEL IN FLESH), Jon Rudin (JUST BEFORE DAWN, WOMBBATH) und Matt Moliti (SENTIENT HORROR).
