Mit „Eden in Reverse“ wird in wenigen Wochen das neue Album der Psychedelic Rock / Progressive Metal-Band HAIL SPIRIT NOIR erscheinen. Der Nachfolger von „Mayhem in Blue“ (2016) ist das vierte Album der Griechen.
“This is the album we´ve spent the most time on“, erklärt die Band. „We started off doing some experiments without any idea where they could lead to. After the first 3-4 tracks, we realized we were onto something new for the band. We were no longer in the 60s-70s zone but more in the 70s-80s. The songs sounded retro-futuristic and surreal but they were also more prog, psychedelic and challenging than ever.“
„Eden in Reverse“ wurde von Dimitris Douvras (FUNERAL REVOLT) in den Lunatech Studios produziert. Das Mastering lag in den Händen von Alan Douches (u.a. für CANNIBAL CORPSE tätig). Als Gastsänger ist zudem Lars Nedland (BORKNAGAR) zu hören.
HAIL SPIRIT NOIR bestehen seit 2010 aus Keyboarder Haris (TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?), Gitarrist und Sänger Theoharis Liratzakis (TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?) sowie Bassist und Gitarrist Dimitris Makrantonakis (DOL AMMAD, WARDRUM, TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?). Seit 2018 sind auch Keyboarder Sakis Bandis (STARGATE), Sänger Konstantinos Margaritis (UNTIL RAIN) und Drummer Foivos Chatzis (KATAVASIA) mit von der Partie.
„Eden in Reverse“ wird am 19. Juni 2020 via Agonia Records erscheinen. Vorab gibt es den Track “The First Ape on New Earth” zu hören.
