Die Power Metal-Band EXLIBRIS hat nach “Rule #1“, “Hell Or High Water” und “All I Never Knew” mit “Shadowrise” ein weiteres Lyric-Video von ihrem kommenden Album “Shadowrise” veröffentlich. Zudem präsentierte die polnisch-finnische Band mit Antti Wirman (WARMEN) auch einen neuen Gitarristen, nachdem Daniel Lechmanski (Ex-CHAIN REACTION) 2019 die Band verlassen hatte.
“Riku first contacted me in spring of 2019 and asked me to play the guitars for the upcoming EXLIBRIS album. I got the tracks in the summer and I was really amazed about the songs! I worked my ass off with the tracks and I´m very happy with the result”, erklärt Antti Wirman.
“Shadowrise” ist das fünfte Album der Band und folgt zwei Jahre nach dem bislang jüngsten Album “Innertia”. Das Album wurde von Keyboarder Piotr Sikora produziert, der auch das Cover-Artwork gestaltete. Das Mastering lag in den Händen von Riku Turunen (Ex-FORCE MAJEURE), der vom neuen Material angetan ist: “We kind of took a short break from everything after Dani decided to go on his own way. And when Voltan (Piotr Sikora) finally sent me first demos of the new material, I was super excited! Now that we´ve finished them, I can honestly say these new songs are more metal, more powerful, basically more everything than we´ve ever released before. There are some pretty insane guitar solos included too.”
“Shadowrise” von EXLIBRIS wird am 17. April 2020 erscheinen.
