Die Screamo / Post-Hardcore-Band DREAMWELL hat mit “All Towers Drawn in the Equatorial Room” – mit Nick Holland (WOUNDED TOUCH) – einen weiteren Video-Clip ihres kommenden Albums “In My Saddest Dreams, I Am Beside You” veröffentlicht.
Im September 2023 ist nach “Obelisk of Hands” mit “Blighttown Type Beat” ebenso ein Video-Clip erschienen.
“Der Song erzählt die Geschichte einer Figur, die auf ein verlassenes Haus stößt, dessen frühere Bewohner es absichtlich geflutet haben und im Keller gestorben sind, und die entsetzt ist, als sie Stimmen hört, die sie überreden, dasselbe zu tun. Es ist eine Allegorie für das Gefühl, so leer zu sein, dass man sich an Menschen und Beziehungen klammert, von denen man weiß, dass sie destruktiv und schädlich sind, nur weil sie einem zur Verfügung stehen”, erklärt Sänger KZ Staska.
“In My Saddest Dreams, I Am Beside You” ist nach “Modern Grotesque” das zweite Album der US-Amerikaner und wurde von Ryan Stack bei Format Audio in Dover produziert. Erscheinen wird das Album am 20. Oktober 2023 via Prosthetic Records.
DREAMWELL sind die Gitarristen Aki McCullough (A CONSTANT KNOWLEDGE OF DEATH, VIVID ILLUSION, NECROPLANET) und Ryan Couitt, Bassist Justin Soares, Drummer Anthony Montalbano sowie Sänger KZ Staska.
