Am 9. Januar wurde bei TONY IOMMI (BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN AND HELL, WHOCARES) Lymphoma im frühen Stadium diagnostiziert, ein Kebs, der die Lymphozyten und damit das Immunsystem schädigt. Aktuell wurden die Aufnahmen zum neuen BLACK SABBATH-Album in Los Angeles unterbrochen, welches im Frühling erscheinen soll. TONY IOMMI ist nach London zurückgekehrt, um sich dort behandeln zu lassen. Dort wird auch weiter am Album gearbeitet. Wie weit seine Behandlung und Genesung Auswirkungen hat auf den Release des Albums und die geplante Tour, das ist noch nicht abzusehen.

Well, it´s not what I wanted for Christmas, that´s for sure, but now I can´t wait for the test results to come in and get going with the treatment.
