Nach einer vierjährigen Vorbereitungszeit gibt es mit der Band THE CLAN DESTINED ein neues Projekt, an dem u.a. Ex-SKYCLAD (Martin Walkyier, Gesang) und Ex-IMMORTAL (Iscariah, Bass) Mitglieder beteiligt sind. Die Band arbeitet momentan an der Fertigstellung ihrer ersten Veröffentlichung und hat zur Zeit noch keine Unterstützung von einer Managementagentur oder einem Label. Once upon a sweltering week in early August 2004, whilst the pavements of Central London lay gently melting beneath the Martian heat-ray of global-warming; Six extremely moist, yet undaunted minstrels did gather within the steamy confines of a practically airtight rehearsal studio. And from out this broiling cauldron, filled with sound and fury, something truly magikal was born. Over four years of careful planning & preparation, all focussed towards this most singular & destined meeting.
It is with an enormous sense of pride that The Clan Destined is finally able to announce the line-up which we’ve assembled in order to spearhead our initial musical offensive. Pictured here from left to right; Lee Cassidy – guitar, Kara Sutra – vocals, Emily Dolan Davies – drums, Martin Walkyier – vocals, Tony Wildwood – guitar and Iscariah – bass guitar. This dedicated team of musicians is currently working very hard to complete the debut, self-financed TCD demo-recordings, which will eventually become the culmination of several years painstaking lyric-writing and musical composition. The Clan Destined has at this moment neither management or record-company backing – Preferring to rely entirely on the support of our many loyal fans and friends until an efficient and trustworthy (!) manager and label present themselves.
The Clan Destined is intended to be something completely fresh and unique from the very outset. In a world obsessed with faiths and colours, trends and genres; We each desire this TCD project to become a united collective which both transcends the current boundaries and sets a whole new bench-mark within the extreme music scene. In our considered opinions there is no real purpose whatsoever in trying to copy that which has already been done before. The current objective being to create something entirely new & ground-breaking at all costs. Exactly how long this takes to achieve will depend solely upon how much help we receive from you good people out there. We simply cannot do this without your involvement. So if you want to become part of something truly special, then the time has now come to climb aboard.
