Die Shoegaze / Post Rock / Dream Pop-Band PENCEY SLOE hat einen Labeldeal mit Prophecy Productions unterschrieben.
Das Pariser Trio bestehnd aus Sängerin und Gitarristin Diane Pellotieri, Lead Gitarrist Valentin Beaucourt und Drummer Clément Aulnois hat sich erst vor zwei Jahren gefunden.
Nachdem PENCEY SLOE eine Demo-EP aufgenommen hatten, kamen sie recht rasch auf den Radarschirm von Prophecy Productions. Und nicht nur auf diesen, als dass sich auch Stéphane “Neige” Paut (ALCEST) zur Band äußerte: “I discovered PENCEY SLOE when they released their EP and instantly fell in love with their dark, ethereal sound. I think they are one of the most promising French bands, and their music will surely appeal to fans of SLOWDIVE, LOW or CHELSEA WOLFE.”
PENCEY SLOE haben vor Kurzem ihr erstes Album, “Don´t Believe, Watch Out”, im Drudenhaus Studio aufgenommen. Ein Release ist noch in diesem Jahr geplant. Vorab gibt es aber mit “Lust Of The Dead” die erste Singe davon zu hören.
