Mit “The Casca Trilogy” wird in einigen Wochen das neue Album der Melodic Death Metal-Band FURNACE erscheinen. Beim vierten Album der Schweden handelt es sich um ein Triple-Album, das wie auch die Alben zuvor einer Konzeptstory folgt. Die Geschichte folgt Casca Rufio Longinus, einem römischen Legionär, der Jesus am Kreuz tötet und dazu verflucht wird, für immer als Söldner zu leben.
“The Casca Trilogy”, das mit einem Cover-Artwork von Daniel Karlsson ausgestattet wurde, wird am 23. Februar 2023 via Obelisk Polaris Productions erscheinen. Vorab gibt es mit “Where the Sea Meets the Sky” ein Lyric-Video.
