Mit “II” wird in einigen Wochen das neue Album der Doom Metal-Band DEATH THE LEVELLER erscheinen. Es ist das erste Album der Iren, die 2017 mit “I” eine EP veröffentlicht haben. Mit “The Hunt Eternal” ist nun ein erster Vorab-Song als Lyric-Video erschienen.
“II” wurde in den TrackMix Studios in Dublin aufgenommen und von Michael Richards (u.a. für CRUACHAN tätig) produziert. Beim Album dreht sich alles um die Sterblichkeit. “We´re still exploring the human relationship with death and concepts of mortality, but whereas the first release approached the idea of legacy after death, this one goes on a more soul-searching journey to some darker personal places of loss but ultimately also has its uplifting moments”, erklärt Drummer Shane Cahill.
Neben Drummer Shane Cahill gehören noch Bassist Dave Murphy, Gitarrist Gerry Clince (allesamt MAEL MORDHA) und Sänger Denis Dowling dem Quartett von DEATH THE LEVELLER an.
“II” von DEATH THE LEVELLER wird am 13. März 2020 via Cruz Del Sur Music erscheinen.
