Die Death Metal-Band DARKENED hat mit “Swallowed by the World” einen Video-Clip ihres aktuellen Albums “The Black Winter” veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Kingdom of Decay” (2020) das zweite Album des internationalen Band-Projekts, welches aus Gitarrist Hempa Brynolfsson (EXCRUCIATE, ORDO INFERUS, Ex-MYKORRHIZA), Drummer Andy Whale (Ex-MEMORIAM, Ex-BOLT THROWER), Gitarrist Linus Nirbrant (A CANOROUS QUINTET, THIS ENDING), Sänger Gord Olson (YE GOAT-HERD GODS, DIVINITY) und Bassist Tobias Cristiansson (GRAVE, Ex-DISMEMBER) besteht.
“The Black Winter” wurde von DAN SWANÖ (NIGHTINGALE, Ex-PAN.THY.MONIUM, Ex-EDGE OF SANITY) gemixt und gemastert und ist am 27. Mai 2022 via Edged Circle Productions erschienen. Das Cover-Artwork stammt abermals von Juanjo Castellano (u.a. für REVEL IN FLESH tätig).
