Die Heavy Metal-Band AWAKE BY DESIGN hat nach “The Coming Tide” mit “Nothing Hurts” eine weitere Single von ihrem kommenden Album “Awake by Design” veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Sentiment” (2009) und “Carve the Sun” (2015) das dritte Album der Engländer.
Zum thematischen Inhalt des Albums meint Sänger Adrian Powell: “When I sit down to write lyrics I never have a particular plan about what I´m going to write about. I usually work the lyrics around a strong melody and the lyrics tend to flow. Listeners will be able to relate to; internal struggles, overcoming obstacles, looking at life from a different angle, war, lies, hate and love. They are all open to your own interpretation. I think lyrics should speak to you and help you get through your own personal struggles and I hope we´ve captured that with this new album.”
Neben Adrian Powell sind weiterhin Bassist Dave Favill, Keyboarder Janson Sissons, Gitarrist Luke Hatton (Ex-CLOVEN HOOF) und Drummer Chris Wilkinson Teil von AWAKE BY DESIGN.
“Awake by Design” wurde von Karl Groom (THRESHOLD) produziert und wird am 14. August 2020 erscheinen.
