Mit “Ciclope” wird in wenigen Wochen das neue Album der Black / Death Metal-Band VOLTUMNA erscheinen. Es ist das vierte Album der Italiener, von welchem Drummer Augur Veii der Meinung ist, dass es “heavy as a Giant´s step, atmospheric as the mist and evoking as a dark ritual chorus” sein wird.
“It is our most expressive and introspective work. Every song is a step into the deep abyss of the past, into the unknown, where reality and mythic visions are just one. Where did we come from? And where will we arrive? This is the double spiral and the Etruscans well knew what we are approaching.”
“Ciclope” wurde im Fear No One Studio in Viterbo aufgenommen und von Sänger und Bassist Emiliano Natali gemixt und gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Stefano Mattioni (u.a. für THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY tätig).
Das neue Album von VOLTUMNA wird am 13. Dezember 2019 via Extreme Metal Music erscheinen. Vorab gibt es zu “The Megalithic Circle” einen Video-Clip.
