Nach dem Tilteltrack hat hat die Folk / Rock-Band TEMPLE OF THE STARS mit „Lands Of Old“ einen weiteren Track ihres kommenden Albums „Nightspirit“ als Video-Clip veröffentlicht. „Nightspirit“ wird das erste Album des mehr oder minder Solo-Projekts von Tobias Tåg sein, der als Gast-Musiker u.a. bei ENSIFERUM zu hören gewesen ist.
„Nightspirit“ wurde von Tobias Tåg und Mathias Lillmåns (FINNTROLL, MAGENTA HARVEST) produziert. Als Session-Musiker wirkt Bassist Niklas Norrgrann (UNDERJORD) mit. Gemixt wurde das Album von André Alvinzi (CARNAL GRIEF, Ex-COLDWORKER). Das Mastering lag in den Händen von Tony Lindgren (u.a. für ENSLAVED tätig).
Die Lyrics wurden gemeinsam mit Thomas Finholm geschrieben. „I wrote „Nightspirit“ in collaboration with Thomas Finholm. There are stories about powerful nature spirits in many mythologies“, erklärt TEMPLE OF THE STARS-Mastermind Tobias Tåg. „We have taken some inspiration from that. Since I have been playing Irish and Celtic music for some time I chose to play the intro melody on a Tinwhistle. It gave the song a „folkish“ and magical vibe.“
„Nightspirit“ von TEMPLE OF THE STARS wird am 10. Mai 2019 via Inverse Records erscheinen.
