Die Experimental Death Metal-Band BRAIN STEM hat mit „Digitally Enshrined“ ein Lyric-Video von ihrer kommenden EP „Symptoms of Annihilation – Stage 2“ veröffentlicht. Zuvor ist bereits der Song „Dawn of Rot“ erschienen. Die anstehende EP ist nach „Symptoms of Annihilation – Stage 1“ der zweite Release und der zweite Teil eines Konzepts der Kanadier.

Zum Konzept der beiden EPs meint Sänger Jessy Leduc: „With both EPs, we´re not just talking about a serial killer or one single brutal murder, we´re talking about global mass extinction, the downfall and mutated rebirth of humanity as we know it. With every song, comes a new way of how humanity could come to an end. It´s an endless realm of possibilities, but it all boils down to one thing: we´re all gonna die.“

„Symptoms of Annihilation – Stage 2“ wurde von Terry Paholek (u.a. für MORTILLERY tätig) im Physics Lab in Edmonton produziert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Eka Saputra von Pzychopart.

BRAIN STEM sind Gitarrist Logan Magnuson, Drummer Alex Mcintosh, Bassist Brad Fife und Sänger Jessy Leduc (Ex-DISPLAY OF DECAY).
