Schon im November teilte die Progressive Death Metal-Band den Track “Years in Frigid Light”, im März 2020 die Single “Invitation”, Anfang Juni ein Video zu “Sun Of War” sowie ein Video zu “Holy Silence”.
“Portraits of the Doomed Escape” entstand im Think Loud Studio mit der Hilfe von Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland.
