Die Melodic Hardcore-Band ALAZKA hat mit “Dead End” eine neue Single mitsamt Video-Clip dazu veröffentlicht. Die Band aus Recklinghausen erklärt dazu: “It´s a song about inevitable change and the way you can decide how you want to deal with it. We all come to points in our lives where things need to happen and it´s up to us to run away from it or face it head on.”
Somit steht der Song auch für die Veränderung der Band: “It´s with heavy hearts that we have to announce the departure of Dario and Kassim. They´ve realized that they don´t share the same vision for the music we make and the way we see this band´s future anymore. There is no bad blood, we wish them all the best for their future endeavors. Please respect that this was their decision and that we have decided to continue forward.”
ALAZKA bestehen nun aus Sänger Tobias Rische, Gitarrist Marvin Bruckwilder, Bassist Julian Englisch und Drummer Tobias Lotze.
Die Single “Dead End” beendet eine längere Schweigepause, nachdem ALAZKA 2017 mit “Phoenix” ihr Debütalbum veröffentlicht hatten. 2015 ist zudem die EP “Values & Virtues” erschienen – damals noch unter dem alten Bandnamen BURNING DOWN ALASKA.
