Die Grindcore-Band HOUKAGO GRIND TIME hat nach den Songs „Ruptured in Akkariin“ und „Hey Toshino Kyoko“ mit „A Manual of Ways to Occupy Oneself While Waiting in Line for Limited Edition Merch“ ein Lyric-Video von ihrem aktuellen Album „Bakyunsified (Moe to the Gore)“ veröffentlicht. Es ist das erste Album des Solo-Projekts von Andrew Lee (AZATH, RIPPED TO SHREDS), der jedoch eine Reihe von Gast-Musiker für sein neues Projekt gewinnen konnte: u.a. die Gitarristen Leon Michael Sandow (IMPALED, MURDER CONSTRUCT) und Dave Callier (OATH OF CRUELTY, P.L.F.) oder die Sänger Brandon (DRAGHKAR, AZATH) und Tom (DEATH FORTRESS, JAWS OF HADES)

„Bakyunsified (Moe to the Gore)“ nimmt Bezug auf den Anime-Boom Mitte der 2000er-Jahre. Auch der Bandname HOUKAGO GRIND TIME kommt nicht von ungefähr, ist er doch abgewandelt von „Houkago Tea Time“, einer Band von der Manga / Anime Serie „K-On!“.

Das Debütalbum von HOUKAGO GRIND TIME wurde von Colin Marston (BEHOLD THE ARCTOPUS, KRALLICE) gemastert und ist am 13. November 2020 via Outrageous Weeb Power Productions / Grindfather Productions / Psychocontrol Records erschienen.
