Die Post-Black Metal-Band THE GREAT OLD ONES hat mit “Of Dementia” ein neues Musikvideo von ihrem kommenden Album “Cosmicism” veröffentlicht.
Außerdem kann man in die Platte anhand des Lyric-Videos “Nyarlathotep” sowie des Songs “The Omniscient” reinhören. “Cosmicism” ist das vierte Album der von H. P. Lovecraft inspirierten Band aus Bordeaux.
Sänger und Gitarrist Benjamin Guerry erklärt: “”Cosmicism” is a literary philosophy developed by H.P. Lovecraft. In summary, this philosophy expresses the fact that humans are totally insignificant in the light of what is happening in the cosmos, events that we can´t understand, issues that are beyond us. Each song on this album features a specific Lovecraftian entity, as well as the protagonist who meets her, sinking into admiration and madness.”
“Cosmicism” ist das erste Album ohne Gitarrist Jeff Grimal, der jedoch noch das Cover-Artwork gestaltet hat. An seiner Stelle ist nun Alexandre “Gart” Rouleau ein Teil von THE GREAT OLD ONES. Ebenfalls neu hinzugekommen ist Bassist Benoit Claus (GOROD, Ex-GORGASM).
“Cosmicism” von THE GREAT OLD ONES wird am 22. Oktober 2019 via Season of Mist erscheinen.
