Die Sludge Metal-Band THE DITCH AND THE DELTA hat ihr selbstbetiteltes Album angekünidgt. Es ist nach “Hives in Decline” (2017) das zweite Album des Trios aus Salt Lake City.
Zusammen mit der Ankündigung hat die 2014 gegründete Band zudem mit “Maimed” auch die erste Single vorgestellt. Nun ist mit “Bleed the Sun” auch eine zweite Single via YouTube verfügbar.
“The Ditch and the Delta” wurde im The Boar´s Nest Studio in Salt Lake City von Andy Patterson (INSECT ARK, Ex-SUBROSA) produziert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Chauncey Secrist. Thematisch handelt das Album von “absolute depression and desperation with hints of lucid clarity and awe”.
THE DITCH AND THE DELTA sind Bassist und Sänger Kory Quist (NINE WORLDS, Ex-SUBROSA) Drummer Charles Bogus sowie Gitarrist und Sänger Elliot Secrist.
“The Ditch and the Delta” wird am 17. April 2020 via Prosthetic Records erscheinen.
